Rylie and Savanna were both bright, brave girls the same age, with big hearts and even bigger smiles. They met at BC Children’s Hospital after being diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic neuroblastoma.

Their bond formed instantly, sharing hospital rooms, crafts, and stories—finding joy in the hardest moments. Rylie was known for her energy and resilience, even when treatment left her too weak to walk. Savanna was gentle and kind, with a quiet strength that inspired everyone around her. Together, they faced needles, scans, and setbacks—but always with each other. In November 2022, Rylie lost her beloved friend Savanna.

Though devastated, Rylie carries Savanna’s memory with her, reminding everyone that friendship and love can shine even in the darkest times.
